We have the cutest little Dance Stores in Saint John and Fredericton and organize one of the most successful Dance Events in Atlantic Canada.  Dance Quest is in its twelfth year.  Over 30 dance schools and over 800 dancers from Atlantic Canada and Maine gather in Saint John to share their talents and compete for numerous prizes and awards.  This initiative, through Quest Productions was developed to enhance and grow the dance community.

 

Our competition takes place in Saint John at local venues over 4 days and culminates with the Saturday evening performance.  This show will see the top competitors perform in our final dance off that we call “The Odyssey” Competitors with the highest scores are invited to perform in the Odyssey; all previous marks are discarded and competitors are judged again based on this performance alone!  Our illustrious adjudicators will also perform in a faculty show. Special Guests will make presentations at our Odyssey Final.  This is the highlight of the year in the dance community in Atlantic Canada. All dancers will take master classes from our faculty in challenging workshops at the Saint John Trade and Convention Center.  Local dancers will have the opportunity to study under world class choreographers formerly an opportunity available in cities like LA, New York and Toronto.

 

Owner Alison Fitzpatrick has been involved with the New Brunswick Dance Community for over 37 years. Whether organizing dance workshops and competitions or working at her dance store, she is happy to share her years of experience with her customers
